Roots Manuva and The Band

A couple of weeks I did a promo shoot for Roots Manuva and his band. It was one of the hottest days of the year and 14 people in a small studio in London was a bit tricky, but somehow we managed and had a good time along the way.

Lounge on the Farm

Summer has hit full swing....work, work and more work. So much so that sleep seems like luxury to me. The weekend before last I packed my camping gear and went to a farm in the Kentish country side and did a bit of lounging. The weather was amazing, the vibe was mellow, the music was great and I got to meet Toots and saw Bad Manners and Hercules and the Love Affair who I've wanted to see for a very long time. Happy days.

Philadelphia Grand Jury

While I was in Brighton for the Great Escape I bumped into an old friend of mine who I haven't seen for over 3 years. It just so happened that Martin has moved back to London as he's managing the Philly Jays from Australia. So I met the chaps from the band, watched them play, had a juice and decided to go down by the seaside and take some snaps.

Bizarre Magazine Ball

This was at the start of June, but with a hectic month I'm trying to catch up so here is the first my catch up posts for June. This night was a lot of fun and everyone was amazingly nice. With a AC/DC cover band, a freak circus and The Gallows, pornstars, burlesque what more could you want? For the whole album check out safeconcerts.com or facebook

Stag and Dagger

One week let to another one and the next festival. First time I've been to the Stag and Dagger and it was a lot of fun though having the problem of bands overlapping at the opposite ends of Shoreditch was a bit of a downer but it forced us to go from one venue to the next at a comfortable pace, seeing 6 bands on a Friday night.
